PHOENIX, AZ – December 10, 2025 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – RM Sotheby’s will open its 2026 auction season at the historic Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa on Friday, January 23, with $60 million worth of collector cars, presenting a standout trio of McLaren’s most innovative and performance-driven machines. Featuring a 2025 McLaren Solus GT, a 2021 McLaren Elva, and a 2022 McLaren 720S GT3X, the sale brings together three limited-production examples that affirm the strength and momentum of RM Sotheby’s Arizona auction as it opens the 2026 season.

“Opening the 2026 season with $60 million worth of collector cars speaks to the strength of the market and the enthusiasm around our Arizona sale during Arizona Car Week,” said Gord Duff, President of RM Sotheby’s. “We are coming off an exceptional year in 2025, and presenting three McLarens of this caliber from a single consignor who ordered each car new makes this a special moment for our team and for collectors who follow McLaren’s most exclusive programs. The Solus GT in particular is something truly special. It is one of only twenty-five built by McLaren and represents one of the most ambitious engineering efforts in their modern era.”

2025 McLaren Solus GT – One of just twenty-five Solus GTs built, this is McLaren’s most extreme track-only model, originally conceived as a Gran Turismo digital concept before being engineered without racing regulations. Chassis 21 was ordered new by the consignor and specified with more than $532,000 in factory options, including the Extended Running Kit, air conditioning, and an additional wheel-and-tire set, bringing its suggested price when new to more than $3.7 million. Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V-10 producing 829 horsepower in a chassis just over 2,200 pounds, the Solus GT features a center-seat layout, sliding canopy, wheel pods, and aerodynamics that generate downforce exceeding its own weight. Finished in a McLaren Special Order tri-color of Papaya Spark, F1 Blue, and exposed carbon fiber. Estimate: $2,500,000 to $3,500,000 USD.

2021 McLaren Elva – Limited to 149 examples, the McLaren Elva is the lightest road car ever built by the marque and its first open-cockpit production model. Powered by an 804-horsepower twin-turbo V-8, it delivers one of the most visceral driving experiences in the McLaren lineup. This single-owner example was purchased new through McLaren of Denver and features more than $383,000 in factory options, including $316,720 in blue-tinted exposed carbon bodywork. Showing only 65 miles and accompanied by service records, it remains in collector-grade condition. Estimate: $900,000 to $1,200,000 USD.

2022 McLaren 720S GT3X – The GT3X is the ultimate, unrestricted version of McLaren’s championship-winning 720S GT3, engineered without racing constraints to deliver its full performance potential. Its hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8 produces 710 horsepower plus 30 more through push-to-pass, supported by GT3-spec aerodynamics and the MonoCage II carbon structure. Ordered new by the consignor, this example includes more than $55,000 in factory options such as a carbon clutch, Bosch crash-avoidance system, passenger seat, TPMS, and VBOX telemetry. Offered with its original order and purchase documentation, it is one of the most formidable and desirable McLaren Customer Racing models. Estimate: $450,000 to $650,000 USD.
