TLD’s Cole Seely Sustains Injury in Tampa

TLD Cole Seely Tampa Supercross

TAMPA, FL – February 25, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely sustained an injury to his pelvis and tailbone after a get off during his heat race at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday night. Team Honda HRC announced that Seely would undergo surgery in the Tampa area.

“After being evaluated at the local hospital, it has been confirmed that Cole Seely suffered a fracture to his pelvis and tailbone,” said Team Honda HRC in a post to its Instagram. “He will undergo surgery tonight (Saturday) and more details will be released as they become available.”

Seely started the day in the all-new GP Air Jersey Raceshop Red (available in April) matched with the GP Air Pant Mono Red. When the lights came on for the night show, Seely was seen wearing the GP Air Jersey Raceshop White and GP Air Pant Mono White – available this April. The helmet he wore was the SE4 Carbon Helmet Maze Red.
