ARDEN, NC – June 18, 2019 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Rinehart Racing has once again signed on as an official sponsor of the 2019 Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis. Priding themselves on motorcycle therapy and other holistic programs, the Veterans Charity Ride brings wounded, severely injured and amputee veterans from all across America to participate in the largest motorcycle event of the year: the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Rinehart Racing will be outfitting the Indian Motorcycles ridden by the veterans with top-of-the-line Slimline Duals® headers and slip-on mufflers.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to once again extend our support to Veterans Charity Ride,” remarks Judd Hollifield, President & CEO of Rinehart Racing. “We had the opportunity to host the veterans along with Dave Frey and his crew at the Rinehart Rig in downtown Sturgis last year. Meeting these men and women who sacrificed so much for our country was a humbling experience, and we are looking forward to welcoming this year’s group in August.”
Since 2015, Veterans Charity Ride has taken groups of veterans from all branches of the military on a multi-day ride that ends at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. This year the group will head out of Salt Lake City, Utah on July 25th and will make stops along the way to meet other hometown heroes who have given so much for this country. The group will arrive in downtown Sturgis, SD on August 1st, and will enjoy a variety of appearances and activities before departing the rally on August 7th.
Under their official partnership with Indian® Motorcycle, Veterans Charity Ride participants will ride a fleet of Indian motorcycle across some of the most stunning landscapes in America. Enhancing both the performance and the sound of these motorcycles will be Rinehart’s latest product for Indian Touring models, their Slimline Duals® exhaust. In combination with Rinehart slip-on mufflers, veterans on the ride will experience increases in torque and horsepower and will hear the trademark Rinehart rumble as they make their way to Sturgis.
“We are thrilled to have the support of Rinehart Racing again this year. Thanks to our partnership, together we can change the lives of more veterans through Motorcycle Therapy,” Veterans Charity Ride Founder, Dave Frey explains. “We truly appreciate the close relationship we’ve built and the support they have given to our veterans.”
