600 Collector Cars to be Featured at Mecum Denver 2018 at Colorado Convention Center

WALWORTH, WI – June 4, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Mecum Auctions, the world’s largest collector car auction company, will return to the Colorado Convention Center in Denver this June 8-9 with an estimated 600 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, Hot Rods, Resto Mods and more to cross the auction block.

Among the featured consignments for the Denver 2018 auction are two extensive private collections, including a dozen eye-catching stunners to be offered at no reserve from the Linden Collection, as well as more than 30 vehicles from collector Rick Holland, most of which will also be offered without reserves. The Linden selection includes a variety of muscle cars and more with everything from a luxuriously styled ’57 Nomad (Lot F106) with a fantastic interior to an outstanding, over-the-top 1950 custom “Merc” (Lot F107) in chameleon paint originally built by Larry Kramer’s Custom Cars and known as “Heavens to Mercatroid.” Holland’s lineup also boasts a healthy assortment with vintage Mustangs, a 1957 Ford Thunderbird (Lot S33.1), several Street Rods and much more. Other main attractions include a rare 4-speed 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z28 (Lot S100), a 4-speed 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Convertible (Lot S115) and a 1969 Shelby GT350 Fastback (Lot S102), to name just a few.

This is the fourth year that Mecum Auctions has staged a collector-car auction in Denver with consignments from 15-20 states annually, and an estimated 5,000 to 7,000 people are expected to attend daily. Mecum Denver 2018 is open to buyers, sellers and spectators. Bidder registration is available online in advance for $100, $200 after June 7, and includes admission for two to each auction day. General admission tickets are available in advance online for $20 per person, per day, and for $30 at the door and online after June 7. Children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission. Doors open daily at 8 a.m. with the vehicle auction beginning at 10 a.m. NBC Sports Network will broadcast more than 19 hours of auction coverage including 4.5 hours live. A live stream of the entire auction will be presented at Mecum.com.
