AlBalooshi Races to Preliminary Pro Mod No.1 Qualifying Position at NGK Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals

CONCORD, NC – April 27, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Khalid AlBalooshi thundered to the preliminary top position for the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service portion of the NGK Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway. This weekend’s Pro Mod racing, presented by Al-Anabi Performance, is the third of 12 events this season.

AlBalooshi in his ’18 Camaro raced to the current No. 1 qualifying position with a pass of 5.711-seconds at 260.91 mph.

Steve Jackson is second with his run of 5.752 at 248.57 and points leader Rickie Smith is 14th following his 5.832 at 245.58 qualifying effort.

E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service qualifying continues Saturday at 3:15 p.m.
