CONCORD, NC – April 27, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Khalid AlBalooshi thundered to the preliminary top position for the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service portion of the NGK Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway. This weekend’s Pro Mod racing, presented by Al-Anabi Performance, is the third of 12 events this season.
AlBalooshi in his ’18 Camaro raced to the current No. 1 qualifying position with a pass of 5.711-seconds at 260.91 mph.
Steve Jackson is second with his run of 5.752 at 248.57 and points leader Rickie Smith is 14th following his 5.832 at 245.58 qualifying effort.
