Bombardier Recall – Defective Front Sprocket

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Summary: Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (Bombardier) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Can-Am Spyder F3 and RT motorcycles. The front sprocket may be defective and prematurely wear, resulting in a loss of drive power.

Remedy: Dealers will perform an interim repair until parts become available. Once parts are available, the front sprocket will be replaced, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 20, 2022. Owners may contact Bombardier customer service at 1-888-272-9222.

  1. I have Question about the recall.
    The information concerning the sprocket, if you’re going to fixed my Can am spyder rt limited, why are you doing a temporary fixed? Also this is going to take a few months. Now are you going to make our payments or give us a Spyder to ride in its place? This is a riding season you know. I have places to go and I want to enjoy my Spyder for the summer.
