FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Dante Oliveira defends AMA National Hare and Hound Championship

MURRIETA, CA – October 29, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Dante Oliveira has successfully defended his AMA National Hare and Hound Championship (NHHA) title, securing the Pro Class crown with a second-place finish at Sunday’s season finale in Ridgecrest, California. Meanwhile, recently crowned NE Pro2 Class champion Jason Tino completed his American National Enduro Championship (ANEC) campaign with a top-five finish in Illinois.

NATIONAL HARE AND HOUND CHAMPIONSHIP – ROUND 7

It was a championship-winning weekend for FMF KTM Factory Racing’s Dante Oliveira, who secured his second consecutive AMA National Hare and Hound Championship at the 100’s National in California with a measured runner-up finish.

The 26-year-old led the opening lap aboard his KTM 450 XC-F before battling for victory throughout the race, ultimately balancing his pursuit of the win with the points required to secure the Pro Class title.

Five consecutive victories to open his 2026 campaign set the tone for the defending champion, with second-place finishes at Rounds 6 and 7 enough to secure his second straight crown – just one week after claiming a seventh consecutive National Grand Prix Championship (NGPC) title.

Dante Oliveira: “I had a solid race-long battle with Zane [Roberts] today – we had a lot of back and forth. I really want to celebrate winning the championship, but losing the battle here today stings – it hurts the ego a little bit! But together with the team, we have put in so much hard work this year – a lot of wins, and I am so grateful for all the work the FMF KTM Factory Racing team has put in to pull off another title.”

AMERICAN NATIONAL ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP – ROUND 9

The ninth and final round of the 2026 ANEC season took place in Geneseo, Illinois, where Jason Tino entered the Bob Reese Memorial aboard his KTM 250 XC-F having already secured the NE Pro2 Class championship one round earlier at the Burning Rock National Enduro.

Tino maintained consistent top-four pace across the six tests, recording the third-fastest time on Test 3 before posting fourth-place times in the remaining stages. The result saw him finish fourth overall to conclude his championship-winning ANEC campaign.

Across nine rounds in 2026, Tino claimed two victories at Rounds 3 and 4, alongside six additional runner-up finishes, reaching the podium in eight of his nine appearances. He’ll now turn his attention to the final round of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, the Buckwheat 100, this weekend.

Jason Tino: “It was an awesome day out here in Illinois! We couldn’t have asked for a better trail – or better conditions – it was like chocolate cake dirt. It was a really sweet round, unfortunately we just missed out on the podium, but the other riders were riding super solid today. I’m stoked to have captured the title at the previous round, and to have been able to enjoy the season finale here.”
