POMONA, CA – July 3, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – Tickets are now on sale for the 61st annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, as NHRA’s 75th anniversary season will come to a thrilling conclusion at legendary In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip on Nov. 12-15.

World champions will be crowned on the hallowed grounds of Pomona, with title battles expected to go down to the wire at the last of 20 races in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series and the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

The milestone 2026 campaign has already been filled with unforgettable performances and record-breaking runs, and plenty more will take place in the Countdown to the Championship as the sport’s biggest stars will compete with world titles on the line at the historic Southern California track.

Starting with qualifying on Friday and Saturday, leading into must-see eliminations on the final day of the season on Sunday, fans will witness the ultimate pressure-packed weekend as Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle competitors leave nothing on the table in pursuit of an NHRA world championship at one of the sport’s most iconic facilities.

In both 2023 and 2024, the championship drama came down to the final pass of the season. Doug Kalitta knocked off Leah Pruett in a winner-take-all final round in Top Fuel in 2023, handing Kalitta his elusive first championship. It was a magical moment to close out the season and, a year later, Greg Anderson defeated Dallas Glenn in a winner-take-all duel in Pro Stock.

For fans who want the ultimate experience at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals, the Top Eliminator Club offers the best seats in the house, a premium experience and several exclusive benefits at one of the biggest races of the season.

The finale will also be the final celebration of NHRA’s 75th anniversary, with the following set to take place in Pomona:

  • A legendary list of names are set to appear, including Tony Schumacher, Tommy Ivo, Sean Bellemeur, Terry Vance and Del Worsham.
  • A celebration of “The Run,” Schumacher’s dramatic, record-setting Top Fuel run in 2006 in Pomona.
  • A new-look Nitro Mall, special displays and much more.

The race is also the final chance to get a head start on the “50 Years of Force” celebration in 2027. Fans can renew their tickets onsite and receive a special commemorative 16-time championship ring honoring Hall of Fame legend John Force.

Last year, Kalitta (Top Fuel), Austin Prock (Funny Car), Glenn (Pro Stock) and Richard Gadson (Pro Stock Motorcycle) all clinched NHRA world titles. The race will again be broadcast on FS1 to close the season in a big way.

Kalitta earned his second championship in three years in 2025 and is in the mix again, trailing only teammate and past champion Shawn Langdon. Prock rolled to his second straight world title, though everyone is currently chasing three-time champ Ron Capps. Glenn and Gadson both won their first world titles last year, finishing off their dream seasons with a championship.

The facility has also been home to some of the sport’s biggest moments. Kalitta’s seven Pomona wins are the most for any Top Fuel driver in NHRA history, while four-time world champ Matt Hagan has eight victories at the iconic track.

In Pro Stock, Anderson has been legendary in Pomona, with his 17 wins tying him with Force for the most in Pomona history. Pro Stock Motorcycle’s Matt Smith has six wins at the Finals, the most for any rider in the two-wheeled category.

Action at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip will include a pair of qualifying runs on both Friday and Saturday, leading into Sunday eliminations, where history will be made and champions will be crowned, with fans getting unparalleled access to see it all go down to end the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.
