LONDON, ENGLAND – May 21, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – RM Sotheby’s is delighted to announce an exciting roster of early consignments for its forthcoming Tegernsee sale, which will take place on 4 July at Gut Kaltenbrunn on the shores of Lake Tegernsee. Held in partnership with the Concours of Elegance Germany, the auction will present an exceptional selection of collector cars and memorabilia.

Leading the early consignments is a 1960 Porsche 356 B Carrera 1600 GS/GT Coupé by Reutter (Estimate: €470,000 – €570,000 EUR, Offered Without Reserve). Reportedly one of only 29 examples built, this highly desirable four-cam Carrera was delivered through legendary importer Max Hoffman to New York in March 1960. Finished in its factory colour combination of Silver Metallic over Black, it is powered by a correct-type replacement 692/3 engine rebuilt by renowned specialist Bill Doyle.

Equally compelling is a 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG Cabriolet (Estimate: €450,000 – €550,000 EUR), one of just 80 open-top examples built by HWA AG to commemorate Mercedes-Benz’s 2003 DTM championship-winning season. Showing fewer than 2,000 kilometres from new and offered by its supplying dealership, this exceptionally preserved example ranks among the most exclusive and dramatic road-going Mercedes-Benz models of the modern era.

Also set to attract considerable attention is a 1992 Porsche RUF BTR 3.8 (Estimate: €360,000 – €450,000 EUR). Originally delivered as a lightweight Carrera RS N/GT, it was converted by RUF Automobile to BTR 3.8 specification and is presented in Maritime Blue over Black. With just 6,222 kilometres recorded since conversion, it is a rare and highly desirable RUF creation.

Mercedes-Benz is further represented by a 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet (Estimate: €300,000 – €400,000 EUR), restored to an exceptional standard and driven only 1,400 kilometres since completion.

Among the additional consignments are a 1957 BMW 503 Cabriolet Series I (Estimate: €250,000 – €300,000 EUR), a 1964 Porsche 356 C Carrera 2 Coupé by Reutter (Estimate: €320,000 – €420,000 EUR), a low-mileage 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (Estimate: €225,000 – €250,000 EUR), a 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia 16M (Estimate: €600,000 – €650,000 EUR), a distinctive 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo with extensive Porsche Exclusive options (Estimate: €70,000 – €120,000 EUR), and a single-owner 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT C Coupé Edition 50(Estimate: €100,000 – €120,000 EUR).

Select automobilia will complement the automotive offering, including a 2018 Max Verstappen Red Bull Racing Puma suit (Estimate: €20,000 – €30,000 EUR), a pair of Ferrari 550 Barchetta helmets (Estimate: €8,000 – €12,000 EUR), and a Ferrari 458 Italia luggage set (Estimate: €5,000 – €8,000 EUR).

RM Sotheby’s returns to conduct its second live auction at Lake Tegernsee, with the sale taking place within one of Europe’s most refined concours settings. A curated selection of significant automobiles will be presented against the backdrop of the Bavarian Alps, drawing an international audience of collectors for a weekend that brings together presentation, provenance, and market-leading results.
