Hundreds of pieces of Historic Michael Schumacher and Formula 1 memorabilia will be Sold Online and Without Reserve this July

LONDON, ENGLAND – June 27, 2025 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – An all-new online-only auction has been announced that will feature hundreds of pieces of sporting memorabilia from the likes of Formula 1 World Champions Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna, and Lewis Hamilton. The Champions – Schumacher and F1 Legends will open for bidding on 24 July, with lots closing between 29 and 30 July, and will feature more than 280 unique pieces offered entirely without reserve. The varied sale will include everything from race-worn helmets and race suits to pieces of bodywork from historic competition cars, with 35 highlight lots expected to go on display at Gut Kaltenbrunn in Tegernsee, Germany during the upcoming Concours of EleganceGermany on 25-26 July.

Several artifacts from the life and career of Formula 1 and Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher will headline the online sale, including a number of historically significant race suits. Leading the selection is a 1996 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 OMP Signed Racing Suit (Est: €20,000 – €30,000 EUR) that was worn to victory in the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix. From the same season comes a 1996 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 OMP Racing Suit (Est: €20,000 – €30,000 EUR) that the German wore during the Hockenheim race weekend, where he qualified on the podium and finished 4^thoverall.

A 1995 Michael Schumacher Benetton Formula 1 Sparco Signed Racing Suit(Est: €15,000 – €20,000 EUR) is a remarkable piece of memorabilia from Schumacher’s second Drivers’ World Championship-winning year, a season in which he also delivered Benetton its first and only Constructors’ World Championship. Meanwhile, a 1992 Michael Schumacher Benetton Formula 1 Sparco Signed Racing Suit (Est: €12,000 – €15,000 EUR) offers a glimpse into the racer’s early Formula 1 career, having been worn to a 3^rd-place finish at the 1992 Mexico Grand Prix.

The sale also includes a handful of highly significant wrist watches with compelling motorsport history, including 1993 Jean Todt’s Personal Girard-Perregaux Automatic Chronograph Watch (Est: €20,000 – €30,000 EUR). A prototype for the highly coveted model, the watch is numbered ‘00’ with the box engraved with the date 04/07/1993. Also with fabulous competition history is a 1988 Gianni Agnelli Formula Ferrari by Cartier Automatic Watch (Est: €10,000 – €20,000 EUR). A personal gift from Enzo Ferrari to the legendary industry giant and playboy, it is engraved ‘l’Avvocato Gianni Agnelli’ and numbered 30 of 50.

Helmets also feature prominently in the sale, with highlights including a 2005 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Schuberth RF1 Signed Helmet (Est: €10,000 – €15,000 EUR), a 1991 Michael Schumacher Benetton Formula 1 Arai Signed Helmet (Est: €10,000 – €15,000 EUR) commemorating the German ace’s debut and honouring engineer Gary Anderson, and, from the modern era of Formula 1, a 2022 Charles Leclerc Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Bell Promotional Helmet by B.S. Designs.net (Est: €10,000 – €15,000 EUR).

Among the dozens of pieces of race-worn memorabilia is a pair of 2000 Michael Schumacher Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 OMP Signed Gloves (Est: €4,000 – €6,000 EUR) that were worn during the 2000 German Grand Prix at Hockenheim. They are followed by a pair of 2014 Lewis Hamilton Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 Signed Puma Racing Boots (Est: €4,000 – €6,000 EUR) from the seven-time World Champion, and a pair of Ayrton Senna McLaren Honda Formula 1 Signed Mizuno Racing Boots (Est: €7,000 – €12,000 EUR).

Among the only lots in the auction on two wheels is a 2010 Honda CBR 1000RR SC59 (Est: €25,000 – €35,000 EUR) built for Schumacher to use on test days.
