SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – August 2, 2023 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – Vance & Hines announced today the next member of its growing family of exhaust systems for adventure-style (ADV) motorcycles, the Adventure Hi-Output 450 Slip-On for the popular Honda Africa Twin motorcycle.
The Honda Africa Twin is one of the most popular adventure bikes on the market. Its versatile performance and comfortable ergonomics make it a great fit for most ADV riding fans. The new Vance & Hines Adventure Hi-Output 450 slip-on adds extra exhilaration to every ride on the powerful 1100cc parallel twin. Constructed of hand TIG welded 304 stainless steel in a brushed finish with a CNC machined billet end cap and trimmed in ceramic matte black, the big 4.5-inch diameter can emits a growl that sounds good on the street or on the trail. The system meets the SAE J2825 Sound Standard, is 50-state emissions compliant and is compatible with Honda saddlebags. An optional US Forest Service Spark Arrestor is available.
“We are very happy with the success of our initial offerings in the adventure bike segment,” said Mike Kennedy, President and CEO of Vance & Hines. “This new slip-on for the Honda Africa Twin is not just a great product, but a natural next step for our expansion in this category.”
In 2021, VH announced its first ADV exhausts for the Harley-Davidson Pan America and the BMW R1250 GS motorcycles, two of the top selling adventure bikes offered in the United States. Keeping its true-to-the brand round cannister, Vance & Hines systems have proven to deliver improved performance and lower weight than the stock exhaust systems.
More information on the Vance & Hines Adventure Hi-Output 450 slip-on system is available at vanceandhines.com and products are available now at motorcycle retailers around the United States for $599.99.
