BLENHEIM, ONTARIO, CANADA – April 3, 2020 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) –  Due to current circumstances surrounding the global COVID-19 virus pandemic, RM Sotheby’s has postponed its live auction of The Elkhart Collection to 23–24 October 2020. The private collection sale was originally scheduled to take place on 1–2 May at the collection site in Elkhart, Indiana. The sale will remain a live auction event, held at the collection location.

RM Sotheby’s has already received significant collector interest in the Elkhart Collection and the team looks forward to seeing clients at the auction on the new dates. Offered almost entirely without reserve, the single-owner collection has tremendous breadth and depth, covering a wide range of time periods, marques, and categories across the collector car market from Brass Era and pre-war Classics through to modern supercars. Beyond the 240+ cars, the collection includes more than 30 motorcycles, a wooden triple-cockpit boat, an assortment of trucks, trailers, and equipment, alongside memorabilia such as children’s pedal cars, neon signs, and a variety of ephemera and collectibles appealing to automotive collectors.

The complete digital catalogue for The Elkhart Collection, comprising all lots, will be released in the coming weeks. An updated list of cars offered from the Collection is currently available for viewing at rmsothebys.com.
