AMA EnduroCross National Championship Series kicks off Aug. 24

Three-round, American Motorcyclist Association-sanctioned series to use all-new event format

PICKERINGTON, OH – August 22, 2019 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) –  One of the most exciting national championship series in American Motorcyclist Association-sanctioned extreme off-road racing has a new promoter and returns to action this weekend.

The three-round 2019 AMA EnduroCross National Championship Series features events in three states and is promoted by Tod Hammock of City Cycle Productions in partnership with EnduroCross creator Eric Peronnard. Hammock purchased the promotional rights to the series from Bonnier Corporation, and the series picks up where the AMA EnduroCross National Championship Series left off in 2018.

EnduroCross is one of the wildest action sports on two wheels. It takes the race format of motocross and combines it with the challenging obstacles of an enduro, all packed into the tight confines of a fan-friendly stadium setting. Riders have to race over rock beds, through water crossings, over tractor tires and across telephone poles.

The series features an all-new, multi-moto format that will provide a challenge for the nation’s best extreme enduro competitors.

The 2019 AMA EnduroCross National Championship Series season kicks off Aug. 24 at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Ariz., before moving on to the National Western Complex in Denver Oct. 19. The season wraps up at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho, on Oct. 26.
