Unique scheme part of larger Valvoline initiative honoring
America’s first responders, military
LEXINGTON, KY – June 14, 2019 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Valvoline Inc. (NYSE: VVV), a leading worldwide supplier of premium branded lubricants and automotive services, has unveiled its American Heroes- inspired paint scheme for Alex Bowman, who drives for 12-time NASCAR Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports. Bowman will race the special No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 design July 6 at the 400-mile event at Daytona International Speedway in Florida.
The red, white and blue paint scheme is a culmination of Valvoline’s current American Heroes initiative honoring our nation’s military members and first responders. The program highlights the brand’s 150 years of being American-owned and -operated and its dedication to military support dating as far back as World War II.
