GLENDORA, CA – February 21, 2019 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Tickets are now on sale for the second annual Virginia NHRA Nationals, the eighth stop on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series tour.
The Virginia NHRA Nationals, taking place May 17-19 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Richmond, Va., returned to the series schedule in 2018 and the sellout crowd was not disappointed as new records were set in almost all categories. The 2019 competition is already heating up and promises to deliver all the intense racing action that fans in the region have come to expect.
Last year Steve Torrence (Top Fuel), Courtney Force (Funny Car), Tanner Gray (Pro Stock) and LE Tonglet (Pro Stock Motorcycle) claimed victories at this event.
In addition to tickets now being available for the second annual Virginia NHRA Nationals, officials have announced the addition of two VIP premium experiences for the only national event in the state of Virginia. The Patriot Club allows guests to watch the event from inside the suite tower with climate controlled seating along with catered meals, meet and greets and more! The Nitro Zone is a one of a kind experience for guests to have tent access with catering to get out of the sun at the mid-track mark watching nitro cars blast past them at 300 miles per hour!
