Curtiss Unveils Production Version of Hera – The Brand’s Flagship All-Electric Motorcycle

Curtiss Motorcycle Company - Curtiss Hera

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 29, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Amid the lights, cameras, and action of the LA Auto Show, Curtiss Motorcycles (OTC: CMOT) unveiled the production version of its upcoming all-electric flagship model named Hera.

Hera is inspired by Glenn Curtiss’ land speed record-setting 1907 V8 motorcycle, the iconic machine which earned Glenn Curtiss the title “Fastest Man on Earth” when on January 23, 1907, he reached 136.3mph on Ormond Beach in Florida.

“Hera helps to further define our clean, simple, and modern aesthetic, while simultaneously paying tribute to one of history’s most exciting motorcycles,” said Curtiss Design Director Jordan Cornille.

Hera features a proprietary battery and electronics architecture, which pays homage to the iconic 1907 Curtiss V8 by re-imagining the machine in an all-electric form, complete with eight “cylinders” containing advanced lithium-ion batteries. The motorcycle features a wheelbase of 64.5 inches, and a ground clearance of 8.25 inches, giving it a uniquely utilitarian proportion and stance. Detailed specifications and pricing for the Curtiss Hera have not yet been released.

The unveiling follows the announcement of the company’s first equity crowdfunding raise in collaboration with Wefunder. Priced at $0.20 per share, investment is open to the public with a minimum investment of $1,000 USD, equating to 5,000 shares of common stock in the company. Investments are now being accepted at:
