Sportiest car in its segment: Maserati Ghibli Diesel wins sport auto AWARD 2018

MODENA, ITALY  – November 12, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – The Maserati Ghibli has been honoured with several awards already and now the list of achievements for the premium business sedan has been added to with another tribute.

The readers of the renowned magazine “sport auto” (Motor Presse Stuttgart) have selected the Ghibli Diesel as the sportiest import vehicle with a diesel engine. The readers of the sporty automotive title were able to choose from a total of 238 models in 25 categories.

The “sport auto AWARD 2018” for the Maserati Ghibli Diesel is further proof of Maserati’s decision to expand its own sports car tradition with a diesel engine.

Since 2013 Maserati has offered the Ghibli with an equally dynamic and economical V6 diesel that is homologated according to the new emission standard EURO 6d-TEMP.

In European markets, and in Germany in particular, the Ghibli Diesel has been a great success.

From 2013 to today almost 16,000 Maserati Ghibli have been produced at the AGAP factory (Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli Plant) in Grugliasco (TO).
