REVER Introduces Auto-Check In to ADV Rally—SoCal Edition
EAGLE, CO – November 7, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – REVER, the world’s largest motorcycle community, has announced the addition of auto-check in to this year’s ADV Rally—SoCal Edition, happening Nov. 8 to 11 at Stagecoach Trails RV Resort, just 12 miles east of Julian, CA.
REVER created all of the on-motorcycle challenges and POIs for the first-ever ADV Rally—SoCal Edition. With 100 cool things to discover on your motorcycle, teams will enjoy some of the best paved and dirt roads SoCal has to offer. Participants will need to run the REVER app and join the ADV Rally Challenge. With that, REVER will automatically check you into a POI when your team reaches that geofenced location. The non-geo-based locations will be recorded on your event scorecard and combined with Base Camp Special Tests for overall event scoring.
As with past ADV Rallys (Sierra and Rockies), posting a picture from the location is required. For navigation, participants will receive a custom map and clue book that outlines all points as well as other event elements. With the map and clue book, teams can put together a strategy, tuning the ride to the type of riding they want to do. Riders must ride in teams of at least two, and must obey all posted traffic laws. The goal of the event is to share cool features of the area, made that much cooler when reached on a motorcycle.
Base Camp at Stagecoach RV Trails will feature ADV product vendors including motorcycle training, test rides, and specials tests designed to challenge and grow rider skills. New this year, teams can compete for one, two, or all three riding days. Morning safety briefings and evening recaps will keep everyone up to date on event details and introduce any needed new information.
