Dowco, Inc. announces sale of its Marine business segment

MANITOWOC, WI – June 1, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Today, Dowco, Inc. announced the sale of the Dowco Marine business segment to Patrick Industries. The acquisition will not affect Dowco Powersports and Plastics customers as all personnel are remaining in place.

The Dowco Powersports and Plastics business segments will continue to be privately held by Chuck Webster, who has owned Dowco since 1975. Over the next several months, the Dowco Plastics and Powersports business segments will transition names to Redline Plastics. In addition, Redline Plastics will build a new corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Manitowoc, WI to increase capacity based on recent growth. The Dowco brand name will continue to be used by Redline Plastics for powersports covers for the foreseeable future.
