SCHUBERTH presents two world premieres and exciting new design styles at the EICMA

MILAN, ITALY – November 7, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – German helmet manufacturer SCHUBERTH continues its product and design offensive: at the EICMA 2017, the O1 jet helmet and the sporty R2 CARBON integral helmet will be celebrating world premieres. At the same time, the brand will be launching a large number of new design styles and colour schemes.

Following its much acclaimed appearance last year at the EICMA, the leading international motorcycle trade show, SCHUBERTH will be attracting even more attention in Milan from 7 to 12 November 2017. “The most important trade fair of the year is the perfect setting for our two world premieres,” says SCHUBERTH CEO Jan-Christian Becker. “With the O1 and the R2 CARBON, we are moving into new segments. Our new collection of design styles will also give a very clear indication of the direction we are taking: SCHUBERTH stands out from the crowd not only technically, but also in terms of its designs.“

In Hall 13, on Stand C71, the brand will be presenting two new helmets. With the introduction of the R2 CARBON, SCHUBERTH is putting its expertise on the streets and is once again pushing the boundaries of what is technically feasible: the R2 CARBON is the first helmet in the world to combine a carbon outer shell with an integrated communications system. It is pre-equipped to take the optional SC1 communications system – the completely invisible microphone, speakers and antenna are already pre-installed in the helmet as standard. SCHUBERTH in this case has opted for a unique manufacturing process for the shell that was developed in-house known as Direct Fibre Processing, in which carbon fibres are sprayed directly into the mould. This ensures that maximum performance is achieved with reduced weight.

The O1 is a modern jet helmet. As a result of the striking design styles – created by the KISKA design studio – the O1 redefines the ideas of what a jet helmet is all about. And equally outstanding: three helmet shells result in one of the most compact jet helmets on the market, and ensure that it fits perfectly every rider every time.

SCHUBERTH is also opening up the throttle with all its helmet model – the collection being presented at the EICMA will enter the 2018 season with over 48 new design styles – this means that customers will in future be able to choose between a total of 115 design styles and colour schemes.
