Array of Support Events to Take Place Both On and Off the Track

WASHOUGAL, WA – July 23, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – This weekend’s 45th running of the FLY Racing Washougal National Presented by Peterson CAT will once again celebrate the men and women of the Armed Forces with the annual Military Appreciation Race. Complementing the sensational action on the racetrack for the eighth race of the Pro Motocross Championship and Round 25 of the Monster Energy SMX World Championship will be an array of festivities arranged in honor of our military veterans and active duty members. Headlining those festivities will be the event’s Grand Marshal, Dianna Dahlgren Bates.

The popular nutrition and fitness expert and longstanding industry figure, best known for her historic run as Miss Supercross, has remained a passionate ambassador for the sport and is also a proud advocate of members of the military as the wife of a former Navy SEAL, Ryan Bates. Because of her respected position as a business owner and public figure within the health, fitness, and wellness space, along with the distinction of being one of the most notable women in the industry, Dahlgren Bates became an obvious, yet unique choice for Grand Marshal.

In this honorary role, Dahlgren Bates will be a central figure in the variety of special events scheduled throughout race weekend.
