RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA – August 10, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – Dunlop riders once again delivered an impressive performance at the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, capturing 34 of the 36 championships contested during the 45th running of the prestigious event.
Widely regarded as the proving ground for the future stars of American motocross, Loretta Lynn’s brought together the nation’s top amateur racers for six days of championship competition. Throughout the week, changing track conditions challenged riders and teams to adapt as the historic Tennessee circuit developed from moto to moto. Temperatures also climbed toward the end of the event, adding another element to an already demanding week of racing.
The Dunlop Geomax MX14 rear tire was the prominent choice throughout the event. From freshly prepared terrain to deeper, rougher sections and changing lines as the week progressed, Dunlop riders relied on the Geomax lineup throughout their championship campaigns.
Team Dunlop Elite continued its tradition of developing and supporting the next generation of motocross talent. Robert Fender, Mayla Herrick and Beckham Smith each left Loretta Lynn’s as 2026 AMA Amateur National Motocross Champions, highlighting another successful year for the program on amateur motocross racing’s biggest stage.
Dunlop riders also earned several of the event’s most prestigious individual honors.
Landon Gibson received the AMA Nicky Hayden Horizon Award, recognizing the amateur racer poised for success at the professional level.
Tristan Prueitt was named the AMA Motocross Amateur Rider of the Year, while Brandon Haas earned the AMA Motocross Vet Rider of the Year Award.
Kameron Buckman was recognized as the AMA Motocross Youth Rider of the Year, completing an outstanding showing for Dunlop riders among the event’s specialty award recipients.
“Loretta Lynn’s is always one of the toughest tests in amateur motocross because the track continues to change throughout the week and you have to be prepared for almost anything,” said Rob Fox, Dunlop Amateur Motocross Support Manager. “We had good weather for much of the event, with the temperatures really starting to climb later in the week, and the track presented plenty of challenges as it developed. Having the MX34 and MX14 available gave our riders strong options for the different conditions we encountered.”
Fox continued, “Winning 34 of 36 championships is something everyone at Dunlop can be extremely proud of, but what means even more is seeing so many riders and families continue to put their trust in us at the biggest amateur motocross race of the year. Congratulations to all of the champions, our Team Dunlop Elite riders, the specialty award winners and every racer who competed this week. We appreciate everyone who chooses Dunlop.”
The results further reinforce Dunlop’s longstanding presence at Loretta Lynn’s and its commitment to supporting amateur motocross racers from their earliest racing years through the professional ranks.
