- Car will star at The Tegernsee Auction on 4 July 2026
LONDON, ENGLAND – June 4, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – In what is shaping up to be a truly remarkable auction at Tegernsee during the annual Concours of Elegance, RM Sotheby’s is proud to offer to market one of the rarest and most technically advanced Hypercars ever created, a Koenigsegg One:1.
The Koenigsegg One:1 is a car which has redefined what was thought possible from a road-legal performance car. Unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the model represented a milestone in engineering purity and ultimate performance. Named after its unprecedented 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, the One:1 combined a dry weight of approximately 1,360 kilograms with an output of 1,360 horsepower (1,379 PS) from its
twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V-8. Equally significant was the fact that the engine produced one megawatt of power—prompting Koenigsegg to label it the world’s first “Megacar”, being among the fastest and most advanced road cars of its era.
The car to be offered in Tegernsee is one of only six customer examples produced. Chassis number 7108 is believed to be the third customer vehicle completed and is known within the Koenigsegg community as “JC”, bearing the initials on the engine cover, and is arguably the most widely photographed and publicly recognised of all One:1s. This particular car was delivered new on 4 April 2015 via Esser Automotive, Koenigsegg’s long-standing German representative. Initially registered to a German company based in Hilden before later passing to Pace Cars International GmbH of Düsseldorf, a subsidiary of Esser Automotive, it has benefited from attentive ownership and specialist maintenance from new.

The car is especially striking thanks to the clear-coated carbon fibre and Kevlar being contrasted by bespoke China Pink accents. The colourful flashes trace the contours of the bonnet, roof panel, splitter elements, side skirts, side intakes, roof scoop, rear diffuser, and the towering active rear wing. Further enhancing the presentation are the revolutionary carbon-fibre Aircore wheels—among the most technically ambitious wheel designs ever fitted to a production car —finished with matching China Pink detailing and complemented by coordinated brake callipers.
Inside, the cabin features black leather and Alcantara, combined with bespoke China Pink accents throughout, including the seat piping, stitching, door panels, rear bulkhead, and interior trim. Lightweight carbon fibre bucket seats reinforce the car’s ultra-focused character, while maintaining the refinement expected of Koenigsegg’s flagship models.
Featuring active aerodynamics, triplex damper technology, carbon fibre Aircore wheels, variable-geometry turbochargers, and an advanced seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the One:1 demonstrated a level of engineering sophistication that few manufacturers could approach. Its performance figures remain extraordinary by any modern standard. Koenigsegg states a staggering 20-second sprint from 0 to 400 km/h, while the tyres were rated for a top speed of 440 km/h.

The One:1 returned to Esser Automotive for routine servicing in March 2017, January 2019, and February 2021. The car was then serviced by SIC Garage in July 2022 before returning to Esser Automotive again for a fresh service and factory updates prior to the Tegernsee Auction. At the time of cataloguing, the odometer displayed 4,233 kilometres from new.
Significantly, ownership of chassis 7108 grants access to Koenigsegg’s exclusive Ghost Squadron community—a private network of owners whose activities include factory events, international driving tours, and some of the most exclusive automotive gatherings in the world. For collectors seeking not just sheer rarity, but significance, chassis 7108 presents an exceptional opportunity. One of only six examples produced, and quite possibly the most recognisable of all One:1s, the car is estimated at €8,000,000 – €10,000,000 EUR. ![]()
