Longtime Performance Filtration Leader Headed To
MotoAmerica For 2026 Championship
IRVINE, CA – February 9, 2026 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – MotoAmerica, North America’s premier motorcycle road racing series, is proud to announce that K&N Performance Filtration is back on board as an Official Partner of the 2026 MotoAmerica Championship.

Pioneering the original red, washable air filter in 1969, K&N introduced its signature oiled-cotton filter design to deliver superior contaminant capture while offering a durable, reusable solution ideally suited for the racing and performance community. More than 55 years later, K&N continues to advance filtration technology, expanding its portfolio to include high-performance intake filters, air cleaners, and oil filters engineered for applications ranging from top-fuel drag racing to everyday commuter vehicles.
“Motorcycle racing is woven into K&N’s DNA,” said Matt Boone, CEO of K&N. “From our earliest days in desert motorsport to our presence across racing disciplines worldwide, performance has always been at the core of who we are. Partnering with MotoAmerica allows us to honor that legacy while continuing to innovate for a broader range of riders and vehicles. As we expand our product portfolio, we remain firmly rooted in what built this company—a relentless focus on delivering high-performance filtration solutions for those who demand more from their machines.”

K&N is headquartered in Corona, California, where its products are designed and rigorously tested at the company’s state-of-the-art research and development testing center. K&N’s manufacturing operations are based in Grand Prairie, Texas, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to domestic manufacturing alongside a global operational footprint. K&N also operates facilities in the Netherlands, and China.
“K&N’s history in motorcycle racing goes back to the very beginnings of the company,’” said Lance Bryson, MotoAmerica’s Director of Sponsorship. “Ken (Johnson) and Norm (McDonald) who I had the pleasure of knowing, were dirt trackers in Southern California when they first met, and they went on to start a motorcycle shop in Loma Linda. The filter business grew from that and now they are a household name in motorsport. We’re happy to have them as a sponsorship partner for the 2026 season. It’s going to be a good one.”
