LONDON, ENGLAND – December 4, 2025 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – Bonhams|Cars presents its annual Bond Street Sale on 11 December, a longstanding highlight of the auction calendar. Each year, the boutique sale brings an exceptional curated mix of collector cars spanning every era – from early motoring pioneers to contemporary supercars – offered at Bonhams’ flagship New Bond Street saleroom. This year’s edition features 27 motorcars,accompanied by a selection of automobilia.  

Leading the lineup is the 1928 Mercedes-Benz 36/220 S-Type Four Seater Sports Tourer, estimated at £1,250,000 – 1,750,000. Once owned by renowned British actor Sir Peter Ustinov, this remarkable S-Type carries both historical significance and cinematic provenance. Ustinov donated the car to the then newly established National Motor Museum Trust in the mid-1970s, where it later underwent a restoration that enabled Lord Montagu to drive it in the 1986 FIVA International Rally celebrating the Centenary of the Motor Car. Now ready for a fresh restoration, the S-Type is offered with an extensive history file and stands as a superb example of Mercedes-Benz’s defining 1920s supercar. 

Single family ownership from new, 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 Series II Coupé.
Estimate: £150,000 – £200,000.

Another important highlight with distinguished provenance is the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 Series II Coupé, from the Guinness brewing family, estimated at £150,000 – 200,000. Delivered new to Arthur Francis Benjamin Guinness, this right-hand drive example was ordered through Maranello Concessionaires in 1962 to mark his marriage to Miranda Smiley. The Ferrari appears in a painting by James Gilroy, the artist famous for Guinness’s iconic ads, showing his well-known Guinness animals cheering on a newly married couple. During his long tenure as Chairman of the Guinness brewing company, the Ferrari became a familiar sight at the historic St James’s Gate brewery.

2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Coupé. Estimate: £400,000 – 600,000. 

A modern standout offered in the sale is a 2007 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Coupé, a rare factory manual example estimated at £400,000 – 600,000. Delivered new to a member of the Bahraini royal family, the car features a one-off carbon-fibre rear diffuser commissioned by Ferrari’s then President, Luca Di Montezemolo,on behalf of its first owner. With only three owners from new, this highly desirable 599 GTB represents one of the most exclusive configurations of Ferrari’s flagship V12 grand tourer.  

Additional highlights offered in the sale include: 

• 1981 Lamborghini Countach LP400S Coupé, only 2,700 kilometres from new. Estimate: £450,000 – 550,000.  

• 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS Targa Coupé, showing just 49 kilometres from new. Estimate: £150,000 – 200,000.  

• 1968 Ferrari 330 GTC Coupé, offered from the estate of the late John Gould, with sale proceeds benefiting Diabetes UK and The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Estimate: £300,000 – 400,000.
