PARIS, FRANCE – October 29, 2025 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – A collection of nearly 200 lots, all without reserve, will be offered at auction in an online sale at Bonhams | Cars from October 30 to November 10, 2025.
This sale will feature a wide range of documents, decorative items, spare parts, racing suits, helmets, souvenirs, and other items dedicated to Jaguar, the iconic British brand that has stood the test of time and knows how to adapt to modernity with grace and elegance.
The collection illustrates the evolution of the brand, from the S.S. Cars Limited period to the iconic models of the 1950s and 1960s, not to mention the brand’s great successes in motorsport, particularly in Formula 1 and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which it won seven times in the 1950s. This is a unique opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors to rediscover British excellence through authentic objects from Jaguar’s history.
A large bronze “Jaguar” sculpture, representing the leaping cat, the brand’s iconic symbol, is estimated at €2,000 to €3,000 (numbered A1281, bears the founder’s stamp “J.B Deposited, guaranteed bronze, Paris”). A beautiful commemorative set dedicated to Jaguar’s F1 period, containing a replica of Eddie Irvine’s helmet worn during his Formula 1 period with Jaguar Racing team between 2000 and 2002, as well as a replica of his racing suit, accompanied by items autographed by Eddie Irvine and Mark Webber (T-shirt, photos, Silverstone 2000 program) and a signed print depicting Eddie Irvine’s Jaguar R1. Estimate: €1,000–1,500.
A collection of automobilia dedicated to the SS and SS100 models, Jaguar – SS 100 will be offered with an estimate of €1,000-2,000, comprising valuable period documentation (instruction manuals from 1935 to 1940) as well as Jaeger and Smith & Sons dashboard instruments, a silver-plated bronze Jaguar Desmo mascot, and various original accessories and specialist publications.
