CHICHESTER, UK – June 23, 2025 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – Bonhams|Cars will return to the Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale on 11 July 2025, featuring a diverse selection of vehicles, including some of the most advanced and exclusive hypercars ever produced.

Among the highlights of this year’s sale is a 2023 Mercedes-AMG ONE, estimated at £2,400,000 – 2,800,000. With just 275 examples produced globally, the AMG ONE brings genuine Formula 1 hybrid powertrain technology to the road. Powered by a 1.6-litre V6 turbo hybrid engine derived directly from Mercedes-AMG’s Formula 1 programme, the car produces 1,063 horsepower and achieves a top speed of over 219 mph. This example is presented in delivery-mile condition and is one of fewer than a dozen UK-registered cars.

The AMG ONE set a production car lap record at the Nürburgring with a time of 6:29.090, making it the first to dip below 6:30. Its exclusivity is further underscored by a high-profile ownership list, including F1 champions such as Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, and Valtteri Bottas.

Tim Schofield, Senior Specialist, Head of Department at Bonhams|Cars, said “From track to tarmac, the AMG ONE is nothing short of a technological masterpiece. To offer such a machine at Goodwood, the home of motorsport celebration, is a real thrill.”

Joining the AMG ONE on the start line at Goodwood are a number of exceptional collector cars from across the eras:

Another highlight this year is a 1987 MG Metro 6R4 ‘Group B’ Rally Car, formerly owned by legendary rally driver Colin McRae, offered with an estimate of £250,000 – 300,000. Designed by Patrick Head of Williams Grand Prix Engineering in collaboration with Austin Rover.
