The first of the two races will take place at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama, June 28-29, with the second qualifier taking place at Grattan Raceway Park in Belding, Michigan, July 12-13.

WERA has promoted and organized events since 1973, grooming countless racers who have gone on to successful careers both nationally and internationally.

The two WERA Mini Cup Qualifiers will provide Street GP racers (aged 14 and up) with the opportunity to qualify for the Mission Mini Cup National Final, which will once again be held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, August 8-10.

“WERA has been around for over 50 years and has always given talented racers a place to hone their skills,” said WERA Motorcycle Roadracing’s Evelyn Clarke. “Being a part of the MotoAmerica Mini Cup this season with two rounds is perfect and fits in with our goal to help riders achieve their dreams.”

“We’re proud to have WERA join our roster of Mini Cup Qualifiers this coming season,” said MotoAmerica COO Chuck Aksland. “WERA has played a huge role in helping develop road racers in the U.S., and we’re pleased to have them organize and promote two Street GP Qualifiers at two famous racing facilities.”
