B’laster Named Official Rust Remover of 2023 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

PICKERINGTON, OH – June 14, 2023 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) –  B’laster, an Ohio-based rust remover and protectant company, will serve for the second consecutive year as the Official Rust Remover and Sponsor of the 2023 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Royal Enfield, which takes place July 21-23 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

“We are thrilled to support the 2023 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days,” said B’laster Marketing Director Irene Williams. “We love any opportunity to connect with the true enthusiasts who know and love our products. Of course, checking out the motorcycles is a nice perk, too.”

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days

Founded in the heart of the rustbelt in 1957 by Cleveland native William K. Westley, B’laster created the Original PB B’laster in response to an issue with a phosphate mine in Florida, after mining equipment could not be taken apart for routine maintenance due to a build-up of corrosion. Nothing was able to break through the corrosion until PB B’laster was created, and the product remains the top-selling, rust-inhibiting penetrant today.

“As a rustbelt native, I understand the difficulties that rust and corrosion — and mud, lots of mud! — create for riders in the region,” AMA Editorial Director and Ohio native Mitch Boehm said, “so it’s great to have a local company like B’laster back for VMD to connect with the many riders that flood to Mid-Ohio in July.”

The 2023 Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Royal Enfield will feature plenty of exciting opportunities for any classic-bike fan, including Hall of Fame activities, road and off-road racing and the biggest motorcycle swap meet in North America. Steve Wise, a 2001 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee and multi-talented racer, will be the Grand Marshal at the three-day event and will be available to sign autographs, speak to enthusiasts at the AMA Soundstage and participate in a Lap For History each day.
