Yoshimura introduces 2021 Triumph Trident AT2 Race Series Exhaust

CHINO, CA – April 27, 2021 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – The middle weight class has more options for today’s riders, now Triumph enters with the Trident, an entry level 660cc triple with nice power and torque as well as value. The new triple is packed with potential, and we were exited to start development on this new British naked platform.

A cousin of the Triumph 675 Daytona motor this new triple was just asking for more power. The stock exhaust is a one-piece unit which required a Race Series full system.

Our development team set out to develop the Trident with the AT2, our newest high performance muffler. The system is part of our Race Series lineup, which means it’s made to be used on a closed course. Perfect, this bike will be a GREAT track day/race day bike!

The AT2 simply looks striking on the new Trident. We don’t know how else to put it but the Race Series AT2 system with our exclusive Works Finish completely transformed this triple. The new three cylinder 660cc engine screams with excitement with our new system! Max HP is up 6.9% and max torque is up 1.3%. Some of our secret sauce is in the collector, where we were able to incorporate a specially designed pre-muffler that enhances the power and adds a very unique exhaust note to the all-new British Trident.

The weight savings is substantial, dropping almost half the weight of the stock system, the AT2 Works Finish full system coming in at a nice 9.1lbs. This bike on the track will be a blast now thanks to the AT2 full system. With lighter weight making this already light machine handle and with enhanced power throughout the power spectrum, our AT2 full system will be the bench mark for racers worldwide.

The AT2 is proudly developed, designed and made in the USA.
