Amazing track awaits the racers and fans
IRVINE, CA – September 20, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – The third round of the 2018 AMA EnduroCross series will take place inside the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center this Saturday, September 22nd. After two thrilling races in front of sold-out arenas, the EnduroCross riders are looking forward to another new track that features one of the largest floors used all season.
Cody Webb won round one in Prescott Valley, Arizona despite coming in with limited riding time due to a broken foot sustained at the Erzberg Rodeo just a few months earlier. This would seem to indicate that his primary championship rival, Colton Haaker, would have an uphill battle ahead of him. But at round two in California, Haaker stormed back with a dominant win despite a crash on the first lap of the main event. Who will take the upper hand in Reno?
SRT-Husqvarna’s Trystan Hart also showed amazing speed and endurance at round two by passing Webb on the final lap to steal second. Hart is hungry for his first career win.
Ty Tremaine, a Gardnerville, Nevada native, will give the locals someone to cheer for. He rode the Alta Redshift electric bike to a fourth-place finish in California and will be looking to improve on that in front of his family and friends this weekend.
Looking for more riders that could mix things up? Kyle Redmond, Geoff Aaron, Ty Cullins, Benjamin Herrera (coming all the way from Chile), Cooper Abbott and Noah Kepple currently hold sixth through tenth place positions in the points and they all want to move up the ranks.
In addition to the pro class, EnduroCross events include classes for the Women, Vet 35+, Amateur and TrialsCross.
The Women’s class is always exciting and, so far, California’s Kacy Martinez and Canada’s Shelby Turner have traded wins. They are both determined to take the 2018 championship and, along with all of the women competitors, show amazing grit to get through the tough EnduroCross obstacles.
