Arnott Introduces Enhanced Smooth Ride Air Suspension Kits for the ’90-’08 and ’09-Present Harley-Davidson® Touring Line

MERRITT ISLAND, FL – April 26, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Arnott Motorcycle Air Suspension is pleased to announce it has introduced MC-2972 and MC-2973, two new Smooth Ride Kits for the 1990 to 2008 and 2009 to Present Harley-Davidson® Touring Line.

New MC-2972 & MC-2973 Feature Arnott-Designed Monotube Shocks

The enhanced Smooth Ride Kits feature a thicker shock than provided in previous Smooth Ride Kits, a larger Goodyear® air spring capable of holding more air to provide additional adjustability and greater comfort, plus an aluminum can to protect the air spring.

Crisp, Sporty Ride

MC-2972 (1990 to 2008) and MC-2973 (2009 to Present) adjustable motorcycle air suspension kits offer a crisp, sporty ride plus the luxury of inflating or deflating the rear shocks with an onboard compressor and switch.

Ideal for shorter riders, individuals with mobility issues, or those who are looking for a slammed look while parked, these Smooth Ride Kits offer more than 3 inches of travel. With a flick of the onboard toggle switch, riders can raise or lower their bike to rest flat-footed while stopped or maneuvering the bike for parking.

At the core of this system are two custom-valved 13″ nitrogen charged, mono-tube shock absorbers with an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) that separates the gas from the oil eliminating oil foaming and cavitation resulting in a better ride and less damage. Using a patent-pending design, Arnott adds a rugged Goodyear air spring allowing the rider the flexibility of setting the height of their rear suspension based on their weight, size, road conditions and riding preference and thus ensuring additional safety through enhanced bike control and stability.

Everything Needed For A Fast, Flawless Install

Arnott pairs the shocks with a small but powerful compressor, custom-designed mounting bracket, and air distribution valve block which includes a muffler to control how fast air is released. Each kit includes everything needed for a fast and flawless installation including User Manual, fused wiring harness and relay assembly, all necessary tubing, cable ties, fittings, bolt covers, protective aluminum covers and mounting accessories. Each shock is custom-crafted and rigorously tested in Arnott’s Florida manufacturing facility and is backed by Arnott’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Many of Arnott’s most popular motorcycle air suspension kits have been pre-assembled and are available for immediate shipping from the company’s Merritt Island, FL facility if ordered by 2:30 PM ET (Monday – Friday). Kits that are not in stock will be custom assembled at Arnott’s Florida facility and are typically shipped within 1-2 business days (if all components are available).
