Papa Motorsports Scores 1st Win in Super Gas

BOWLING GREEN, KY – March 14, 2018 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – NHRA Southeast Division hosted the Baby-Gators this past weekend at Gainesville Raceway kicking off 2 weekends of racing at the historic facility. Papa Motorsports Driver Michelle Furr hoisted the Super Gas Wally on Sunday, starting the ball rolling into the Mello Yellow Series Event Gatornationals this weekend.

“It is always tough to pick up a Wally when you are racing in Division 2, said Furr, there are so many successful racers here, I had a great car and a great crew, I always feel very lucky to win in Super Gas, it is filled with the best of the best down here, we will see if we can pick up a back to back this coming weekend, up.”

Michelle Furr a driver under the Papa Motorsports Team, owned and operated by one of the best in the carburetor business, Marvin Benoit formerly of Quick Fuel. Papa Motorsports houses competitive cars in Super Gas, Super Comp, and Stock categories.

The NHRA Mello Yello Series 48th Annual Amalie Oil Gatornationals kick off Thursday with final rounds being contested on Sunday.
