Originally named Electric City Harley-Davidson, the dealership had been in operation for over 50 years, originally established by the Noto family. In 2004, it was relocated to its current location, and in 2014, it was sold by the Noto family to the Rommel Harley-Davidson dealership group with the help of George C. Chaconas from Performance Brokerage Services.
This acquisition marks the fourth dealership in Pennsylvania operated by Hannum’s Harley-Davidson, and their fifth dealership located in New Jersey. The dealership will revert to its prior name of Electric City Harley-Davidson, paying respect to Scranton’s history. The dealership features a 32,000 square-foot building and is scheduled to begin operating under its new name on Thursday, February 1.
