Whether performance enthusiasts need an engine for the street or track, the engine experts at
Prefix offer two choices to keep it simple.
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – September 27, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – When a vehicle project is hungry for more power, but the builder would like to keep it as user-friendly as possible, Prefix® now offers a pair of solutions. Auto enthusiasts across North America can now enjoy impressive drop-in power and performance with HEMI crate engines, created with plug-n-play convenience. The performance division of Michigan based Prefix Corporation (formerly Arrow Racing Engines) has years of experience with HEMI power and now offers both, 392 and 426 crate engines.
These performance engines are not the typical off-the-line crate engine. These are low volume specialty built engines, produced by a team of performance professionals with decades of experience with the Mopar® powerplant. Each Prefix engine comes with a dyno-tuned calibration and includes front accessory drive with alternator, power steering pump and AC compressor, and are built using all forged internal components.
“We’re really excited to offer these, because they are true Plug-N-Play engines,” explained Prefix Production Manager, Rick Talbot. “Each is built with a Holley HP system and they are extremely user friendly, whether installing them into a vintage car, hot rod, muscle car, or new model vehicle.”
