Dodge NHRA Nationals SOLD OUT for Saturday Qualifying

MOHNTON, PA – September 23, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – NHRA officials announced a sellout for Saturday’s racing at the 33rd annual Dodge NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway. Fans from all over the Northeast have filled the grandstands and pit areas under unseasonably warm weather conditions during day two of the 20th of 24 events in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and second of six events in NHRA’s Mello Yello Countdown to the Championship.

“Maple Grove Raceway fans may be the most loyal in motorsports and deserve this weekend’s weather,” said Maple Grove Raceway President Mike Lewis. “Today’s Dodge NHRA Nationals sellout is a great indication of the surging popularity of NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing. We appreciate every fan, every racer, every employee and all the sponsors who support Maple Grove Raceway.”

It is the third event of the 2017 NHRA Mello Yello Series season to feature a sellout crowd. The Lucas Oil NHRA Southern Nationals had a sellout on Saturday, and the NHRA New England Nationals was sold out both Saturday and Sunday.
