CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN – August 27, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely finished just off the podium in fourth at the final round of the Pro Motocross series just outside Indianapolis. His 4-4 moto result helped him collect his fourth straight top-five finish and solidified his place as fifth overall in the championship standings.
Seely made things easy on himself in Moto 1, starting the opening lap in fifth. He kept a close watch on the riders in front of him and made the pass for fourth on Lap 2. He wasn’t far off from third when the checkered flag flew, but enjoyed the solid finish with his eyes on Moto 2. He grabbed another great start in the second moto and rode in third for a while before being passed. Seely held onto fourth for fourth overall and ended the series with an impressive fifth place in the championship standings.
“It would have been nice to cap off the season with a podium, but everyone was super quick today and I’m happy to have been able to run up front in the last race,” said Seely. “This season was another grueling one with lots of riders having injuries so it’s good to be healthy when it’s all said and done.”
Seely was wearing the SE Air Megaburst Gray and Black Racewear before switching to the GP Star Racewear. He also wore a custom SE4 Carbon Midnight Helmet. See more of the 2018 gear sets and the 2018 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
