25th annual competition recognizes powersports retailers for their Commitment to the Customer

SUNBURY, OH, August 4, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) –  Dealernews, the premier business information resource for North American powersports retailers, announces the winners of the 25th Anniversary Top Dealer Awards, the motorcycle and powersports industry’s largest, longest running and most prestigious retail competition.

The competition recognizes motorcycle and powersports dealerships across the United States for their Commitment to the Customer, and awards Dealers for their efforts to be ambassadors for the sport, the industry and the rider lifestyle in their markets.

For the silver anniversary year, Dealernews will separately acknowledge the Top 25 Dealers whose entries scored highest in this year’s competition; these, along with the winners of special awards — including the Dealernews Dealer of the Year and the winners of the category-specific IDEA Awards — will be announced in early August.

“Three out of four contestants this year entered one or more IDEA Award categories, which were new to the competition. That is the highest level of participation for the category-specific awards, ever,” said Mary Green, vice president and general manager of Dealernews.

More than two dozen states are represented in this year’s winning class. States with the highest number of winning dealerships are Texas (nine winners), North Carolina (5), Michigan (4) and Virginia (4). A list of the Top Dealers is provided below.
