TLD’s Cole Seely Collects Another Top 10 at RedBud

Cole Seely

BUCHANAN, MI – July 2, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) –  Troy Lee Designs rider Cole Seely earned his fourth top-10 finish of the season at RedBud as thousands of fans helped the Pro Motocross Series celebrate the nation’s birthday. Seely rode to a 6-9 moto finish that placed him seventh overall. Seely has only finished outside the top 10 in a moto three times as the series hit its halfway point in Michigan.

Seely’s day started out with a great start in the opening moto. He came across the first lap in fourth, but fell back to seventh the very next lap. Seely wouldn’t settle for that spot and would make it up to sixth before the checkered flag waved. Seely had to work for it a little more in Moto 2 after starting outside the top 10. His ride from 12th to ninth placed Seely seventh overall.

“After having to sit out last weekend, it was good to be on the gate and racing in front of the amazing RedBud fans,” said Seely. “I think I could have done a little better, but it felt good to be back in the top 10 again and hopefully get some momentum going for the rest of the season.”

The series will get a weekend off before traveling to The Wick 288 in Southwick, Massachusetts on July 8th.

Seely was wearing the recently released SE Air Megaburst Red Racewear and then got a little extra patriotic with the GP Air Americana Jersey during the motos. He also added a custom SE4 Composite Team Edition helmet. See more of the 2018 gear sets and the 2018 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.
