Aston Martin steps up investment in local community

GAYDON, WARWICKSHIRE, UK – March 13, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Aston Martin have formed a new partnership with local Leamington Spa based charity, Helping Hands.

The Charity provides support to vulnerable people in the Warwickshire area, through a number of initiatives including mentoring, support for the homeless and those affected by domestic violence.

This partnership was developed following the theft of Helping Hands’ delivery van late last year, impacting on the charity’s ability to function. Following an introduction by local business group Stratford & Leamington Business Forum and Stratford MP Nadhim Zahawi, Aston Martin stepped in with a new van allowing Helping Hands to continue with its vital work.

Aston Martin President and Chief Executive Officer Dr Andy Palmer said: “As a company we have an ongoing commitment to CSR and supporting the communities in which we operate are very much a part of this. Helping Hands is an excellent local charity, making a real difference in people’s lives and we are delighted to were able to support.”
