The recipient of the Win a Defender Program has been announced by Can-Am. The Contest was held during the Defender Pilot Program.
VALCOURT, QUEBEC / CANADA – January 27, 2017 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – During the 2016 Defender Pilot Program held at several dealerships in Iowa, Texas, and Minnesota, participants were able to see the new Can-Am Defender vehicle and register for the “Win a Defender” promotion. On December 14, 2016, the drawing was held and the winner was Jeff L. of Iowa.
Jeff L. won a Can-Am Defender HD8 vehicle (retail value $11,599 USD). He decided to upgrade to the XT package at his expense. Brunkan Equipment of Worthington, Iowa, handled the transaction and the unit was picked up on January 6, 2017.
When asked about winning the new Defender side-by-side vehicle, Jeff L. replied, “I couldn’t believe it, but to my surprise I really did win. I’ve never owned a UTV but I have owned an ATV for 16 years. My wife and I have been running a swine operation together for 32 years. The Can-Am Defender will sure come in handy on the farm from doing chores to just bringing lunch to the field.”
Designed to be Tough, Capable, and Clever, the Can-Am Defender vehicle is ready for any job on the farm. Available in a variety of package options and three engine sizes, the Can-Am Defender can pull up to 2,000 pounds and has a 1,000 pound cargo box payload. The Defender side-by-side vehicle also boasts a tight turning radius, optional locking rear differential, and a host of PAC accessories to fit the user’s needs.
