SEMA Award – Best New Powersports Product – Chase

The SEMA New Products Showcase Awards are among the most coveted at the SEMA Show, and the RIGID Chase clinched the top spot as best new Powersports Product. The innovative RIGID Chase is a multi-function LED light that was specifically designed for side-by-sides and other powersports applications. Intended to be mounted rearward, the Chase includes a powerful center light for reverse and rearward illumination, a small cargo light, and a powerful halo of LEDs that can be used as a brake light, running light, or even a strobe for racing applications. All of this functionality is housed in a compact fixture that can easily be mounted to a rollcage or flat surface. The Chase was among more than 3,000 products entered into the SEMA New Product Showcase this year. Winners are selected by SEMA judges based on a variety of factors, including quality, marketability, innovation, technology, consumer appeal, and more.

Diesel Tech Show Stopper Award – Adapt

Diesel Tech Magazine is no stranger to the SEMA Show, having covered the enormous trade show for a number of years. The magazine hands out just five of its own awards to companies and products each year that the editors feel demonstrate “the most innovation in the industry, pushing the limits on previously defined and accepted norms, while opening new markets to develop.” Diesel Tech recognized the game-changing technology of the RIGID Adapt and honored it with one of its Show Stopper Awards. The Adapt is the world’s first light bar that can automatically adjust to changingconditions, gradually transforming from a broad flood beam to a highly focused spot beam according to vehicle speed. Users can also toggle among light beam modes via a dash-mounted controller. The Adapt eliminates the need for consumers to pick just one beam pattern per light fixture and instead offers everything from spot to flood beams in a single light bar. The Adapt also includes colored accent lighting, programmable presets, and a unique look that is unlike anything else in the lighting industry.

Global Media Award – D-SS

International media is an important part of the SEMA Show, so much so that they have their own award program that recognizes the best new products from a global perspective. This year the Global Media Awards program consisted of 29 international journalist judges from 18 different countries who reviewed and evaluated products displayed in the New Products Showcase. Each judge selected 10 products that they believed would succeed in their home countries. Editor Perry Mack of 4WDrive  Magazine Canada recognized the unique benefits of the new RIGID Dually Side Shooter for off-road applications. The new D-SS is a slightly different take on RIGID’s popular D-Series pod light. In addition to powerful forward-facing LEDs, the Side Shooter also incorporates LEDs aimed off to the side for a broader area of lighting coverage that is perfect for cornering and drifting. The Side Shooter is available in single and dual fixture variations.
