Beach Whiskey Partnership to Debut at
Can-Am 500 Race Weekend in November

PHOENIX, AZ – November 2, 2016 – (Motor Sports Newswire) –  Phoenix Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that Beach Whiskey is the official whiskey of PIR and will be a part of the Can-Am 500 race weekend on Nov. 11-13.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Beach Whiskey,” said Sperber. “Beach Whiskey is a brand that identifies with good times, fun and excitement – everything that our fans have come to expect from an event at Phoenix Raceway.”

Beach Whiskey co-founders include country artist Jake Owen, whose highly-anticipated fifth studio album, American Love, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and at No. 4 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

“I’m thrilled to be sharing Beach Whiskey with NASCAR fans — who I am a fan of personally — since they are some of the greatest people on earth,” Owen said.

Fans can enjoy Beach Whiskey, as well as signature cocktails, during the Can-Am 500 weekend at Phoenix Raceway by visiting designated bars and beverage locations on the Fan Midway.

A reimagined take on the traditionally dark spirit, Beach Whiskey is a versatile, clear American whiskey that can be sipped straight up, on the rocks, as a shooter or in mixed drinks and cocktails. Beach Whiskey embodies the laidback seaside lifestyle with day-drinkable flavor profiles and sea glass-inspired packaging, invoking a new sentiment for American whiskey.

Co-founder & CEO of Beach Whiskey J. Smoke Wallin echoed Sperber and Owen’s excitement about the new partnership. “I love NASCAR and my favorite track is Phoenix,” he said. “I can’t imagine anything more refreshing for thirsty racing fans in the hot Phoenix desert than some ice cold Beach Whiskey Island Coconut on the rocks — and we think they’ll agree.”

Tickets for the Can-Am 500 are available now by calling 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or visiting www.phoenixraceway.com.
