LAS VEGAS, NV – November 1, 2016 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Cooper Tire is showcasing a wide range of its newest and most popular products in booth #43019 at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas today through Nov. 4.
The new Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 is being highlighted as a breakthrough in the ultra-high performance tire category. According to Scott Jamieson, Cooper’s Director of Product Management, “Innovations in the tire’s tread compound and design help it deliver incredible grip, allowing the tire to hold the road at up to 1g in tight corners—a marvel of cutting edge technology for an all-season tire,” he said. The Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 is currently available in the United States in 37 sizes that fit vehicles ranging from American Muscle to German and Import cars. The tire features a Cooper tread wear protection warranty of up to 50,000 miles.
Cooper is going off-road at SEMA by showcasing products from its Discoverer STT PRO line, including the addition of a new 40 inch tire. Since its introduction in 2015, the Discoverer STT PRO product line has been winning accolades from the off-road community for its ability to tackle the toughest terrain—from the thickest mud to the rockiest trails— all while maintaining excellent on-road manners not typically found in a dedicated off-road tire. Cooper has just expanded the Discoverer STT PRO product line with the addition of a 40 inch tire, a sought after size in the off-road community as it provides extra height for clearing obstacles.
“At Cooper, we know that people depend on their tires no matter what they’re driving or where they’re going,” said Jamieson. “No single one tire can satisfy the needs of every driver, so our products deliver the best in performance and value across a wide range of driver needs. From the launch of the new Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 high performance tire, to expanding the size offering of the off-road Discoverer STT PRO line, Cooper has a tire solution for just about any need and we are excited to showcase the newest and best from Cooper at SEMA this year.”
In addition to the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 and the new 40 inch Discoverer STT PRO tire, Cooper is also featuring its Discoverer SRX line at SEMA. With 67 percent of U.S. households driving an SUV or CUV,* Cooper designed the Discoverer SRX to be a popular choice in tires to meet the specific needs of these vehicles. The best-in-class Discoverer SRX provides a quiet, comfortable ride, superior handling and long tread life in all seasons. Delivering road surface grip for traction in wet weather conditions and light snow, the Discoverer SRX also carries a 65,000 mile tread wear protection warranty.
Also at SEMA is the Cooper CS5 Touring tire, which delivers all-season performance through leading technologies for crisp steering response, controlled handling around corners and superior wet handling. The CS5 is available in sizes that fit most modern sedans and SUVs. Designed with drivers in mind, this tire also allows users to check the condition of their tires’ tread with the Cooper Wear Square™ visual tread wear indicator. This Cooper innovation wears down to an exclamation point when it’s time for new tires. The CS5 Touring comes with up to an 80,000 mile limited tread wear warranty and a 45-day road test.
