Today, Mecum Auctions stands as the host of the area’s only annual collector-car auction. Mecum Chicago 2016 will return to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center on Oct. 6-8 featuring an estimated 1,000 collector cars headlined by American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, hot rods, Resto Mods and more.

The cars will begin crossing the auction block at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 and at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 7-8. NBC Sports Network will broadcast a select schedule of auction coverage, and a live stream of the entire auction will be presented at Mecum.com.
