23 08 2016

Current Point Standings as of Aug. 22, 2016

WEEDSPORT, NY – August 23, 2016 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – The Mr. DIRTcar Home Track program is soon coming to a close as teams are heading into the homestretch with two weeks remaining for the point battle in all four divisions. Home tracks will also be issuing bonus points towards the series based on where the team stands at their home track. Those bonus points wont be added until Sept. 5th. Most teams in the points chase have well over 16 starts at their DIRTcar home tracks. The program awards the championship based on the 16 best finishes of a driver in his or her respective division at any DIRTcar sanctioned track in the Northeast allowing their bad finishes to drop out of the ranks.

The 2016 program will soon be coming to an end on Monday, Sept. 5th.

Number of DIRTcar sanctioned tracks for each division:

8 Big Block Modified tracks
8 358 Small Block Modified tracks
