Beats the Competition with Air Lift Performance 3H Suspension
LANSING, MI – August 23, 2016 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Cody Miles, 2015 Redline Time Attack Street Class champ, is setting records on air in his 2007 Subaru STi coupe equipped with an Air Lift Performance air suspension system featuring the company’s new 3H control system.
Miles placed first in the Street AWD Class with a time of 1:45.4, which was just .01 seconds from a track record and nearly 4 seconds faster than the second place finisher.
After struggling with issues associated with a blown engine after the Redline Time Attack event at Willow Springs International Raceway on July 23rd, Miles managed to take the top spot on the podium.
“Walking away from the HKS Speed Ring with a win means more to me than I can put into words. The amount of effort required to prepare for this event in such a short time frame seemed almost impossible,” said Miles. “I worked on the car for a couple of days straight without any sleep. Thanks to the insane amount of help from those around me, from sponsors to friends and family, I was able to get the Subaru STi running successfully through the weekend with no issues.”
According to Devin Pringle, marketing manager, Air Lift Performance, “Our team of engineers created performance air suspension because they believe in what air suspension is capable of. Their continued hunger for developing the most versatile suspension on the market is coming to life in what Cody is doing. Cody’s dedication to hit the track on the weekends is why we do what we do. He’s a huge inspiration to all of here at Air Lift Company.”
Miles has enjoyed his successful partnership with Air Lift Performance, which has allowed him to push the envelope and set new records, for the past three years. He credits his success to the engineering team at Air Lift Performance.
The Speed Ring Powered by HKS, is a unique industry based event that is open to the general public which took place in Fontana, Calif. on Sunday, August 21. The event includes a car show, a stunt bike show, and a time attack event. Time attack participants raced the Auto Club Speedway Roval road course for prize money in excess of $30,000.
