MILLVILLE, MN – July 17, 2016 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – With the rest of his Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM teammates recuperating from injury, Mitchell Oldenburg was the sole representation for the team at the often-treacherous Spring Creek MX Park circuit. He rode with intensity both motos to earn a 13-14 moto score, good enough for 15th overall.
About an hour south of Minneapolis, Minnesota, the riders were treated to unusually pleasant weather conditions with minimal humidity. In the first moto, Oldenburg rocketed his KTM 250 SX-F to a second-place start and tried to settle in to the quick pace up front. He did his best to clock in a good finish, and was able to record 13th.
In the second moto, he got another solid start but a bit further back in the pack around 10th. The track was extremely rutted and challenging for the whole 30 minutes plus 2 laps and Oldenburg grabbed 14th, which gave him an overall score of 15th.
Before the team gets two weekends off, they will head to the Pacific Northwest stop outside Portland, Oregon for Round 9 at Washougal Motocross Park in Washougal, Washington.
The Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM riders were looking good in their SE Air Corsa Flo Yellow and the SE Air Phantom Blue racewear with the SE4 Twilight Navy helmet. See all of the 2016 gear sets and the 2016 Moto Helmets online and at your local TLD retailer.

“READY TO RACE” for KTM, these three words are far more than a simple slogan. They stand for the entire company philosophy of developing vehicles that can without any modifications comprehensively assert themselves in any race. Direct from the dealer onto the track and into the battle for victory. Designers, engineers and riders are bound by a clear common denominator: an unconditional passion for motorcycles. The whole KTM family is a living example of this worldwide. Countless offroad World and European championship titles plus brilliant victories in the world’s toughest races (International Six Days Enduro, Dakar Rally, Erzbergrodeo, and many more) all speak for themselves. And KTM Supermotos, Naked Bikes, Superbikes and the X-Bow all demonstrate what an “orange” lead means on asphalt.
