SALT LAKE CITY, UT – July 16, 2016 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Action sports legend Travis Pastrana and Nitro Circus have announced its sponsors and presenting partners for the inaugural Nitro World Games, taking place July 16 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. This week, fans are pouring into the region to see Nitro World Games, which airs live in the U.S. on NBC primetime. Olympic snowboarder Todd Richards will host; Pastrana and skate icon Tony Hawk will co-host the broadcast. Nitro World Games features the more than 100 of the best athletes in extreme and action sports’ most exciting disciplines including FMX, BMX, skate, scooter and inline.

Nitro World Games will welcome patients from Be The Match for a one-of-a-kind VIP experience. “Nitro World Games is a great opportunity for Nitro Circus to give back to these patients who are going through a tough time,” says Pastrana. The non-profit organization manages the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world and saves lives through transplants. Each patient, who has received a bone marrow donation, and members of their family will get early access to the event, a track tour, Nitro World Games merchandise and a meet and greet with athletes.

Nitro Circus, NBC Sports, Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert and the Utah Sports Commission rocked the sports world in December 2015 when they announced the inaugural Nitro World Games. Created by Michael Porra and Travis Pastrana, this complete reinvention of action sports competition will feature new formats and never before seen tricks.
