LYNNWOOD, WA – February 9, 2016 – (Motor Sports Newswire) – Join the hosts of The Hog Radio Show Motorcycle Podcast as they interview Christopher Holshek Author of Travels with Harley – Journeys in Search of Personal and National Identity and founder of the National Service Ride.
Christopher Holshek retired U.S. Army Colonel is organizing a National Service Ride and invites motorcycle riders to join him for a portion of his journey through the United States to promote his book’s main theme of better citizenship through service to others in all walks of life and engagement with the world.
“When we become better citizens and serve others, we become a better country – because, when you serve your community, you serve your country.” States Christopher Holshek retired U.S. Army Colonel and longtime motorcycle rider.
The Ride which begins May and runs to July 2016, aims to link up the country across regions and generations to generate a more positive, constructive dialogue about who we are and where we’re going. The idea behind the ride and book is to get people working toward national unity rather than national division and to help pass the baton of generational leadership to the next generation of leaders.
“The future depends on each one of us, in every generation, taking our own journey to find out who we are, what we’re about, and what we’re willing to do to face the challenges of our times. Only this way, can we step up to national and global citizenship, starting in our own communities.” States Cristopher.
